Movie Review - Love in the time of Cholera

Ok - this move gets 2 stars in my book -- the story is good but the move is slow and there were several time towards the end I just wanted it to end. It finally did and I left the theator. The scenery was beautiful but I would recommend this for a rental.

Uhh. The book was longer. I believe it was intentional. The book moves you through the infinite morass of human drama and pain until you choke from it. The context of beauty contrasted with pain is a metaphor for human insanity and struggle. Do we chose this or do we chose that. I would think that the movie would not be about entertainment but a slow drudge through hopelessness and banality. Not for the faint of heart. The book was enough for me.
